Last year neuro scientist and former Olympic skater Beorn Nijenhuis researched the most effective study method for a professional musician. He did that by monitoring contra bass player James Oesi, who was preparing a recording of Bach’s Cello suites, and using the training methods which had been used in sport for many years. The results of this research will be presented together with a concert on Saturday 1st August (20:00) in the Muziekgebouw aan ’t Ij in Amsterdam.
