Suzan Veneman’s star has been on the rise since she won the Princess Christina Competition in 2010. She reveals a very broad palette of possibilities in the very different bands in which she is active: The Jazz Orchestra of the Concertgebouw, BvR Flamenco Big Band, Zack Lober’s NO FILL3R, Iman Spaargaren’s ‘Undercurrent Trio’, Zinder and the Suzan Veneman Sextet.
Timothy Banchet started playing the piano at the age of four. Inspired by his record-collecting father, he started his career as a sideman. In recent years, his original and daring playing – which is deeply rooted in jazz history – has been more in the spotlight as a soloist and bandleader.
