Round numbers always indicate a good moment for celebration and reflection. For example, to pause and reflect on a programme that has been running for a long time on the Concertzender.
One such programme is DreamScenes, broadcast monthly on the second Sunday of the month at 20:00 CET. The “formula” of DreamScenes: a dreamy (of course) non-stop mix of ambient soundscapes, experimental electronics, and (occasionally) modern classical music. The programme is not intended to help you to fall asleep because sometimes the combination can be quite intense (just like dreams can be).
The 100th episode of DreamScenes will be broadcast on the Concertzender on December 14th. A nice round number, but it’s actually episode 134. The first 34 episodes were only available on compiler Peter van Cooten’s website ambientblog.net, before the programme also became available on the Concertzender in June 2017.
