The Source of Sound invites you to listen closely and aims to surprise you with the richness of the world of sound. The programme is part 3 of our mini-series about Buddhist music and this time presents music from China and tells the story of how this ancient musical tradition reemerged in the 1980s after 40 years of repression. The music in the programme includes Fanbai, the vocal music that came from heaven and music that can be used to communicate with the dead and with the spirit world.
