We have previously paid attention to the Trío Los Panchos, but in the current series the focus is entirely on the period 1944-1950, the early years of the Mexican trio of the romantic bolero. The recordings from these immediately successful years were unknown in the Netherlands for a long time because the trio only broke through here later.
The compiler of the series is Henk Braaksma, who has already made many beautiful series for the Concertzender and this one was also great.
