Our programme maker and producer Wiboud Burkens has been nominated for the Edison Publieksprijs in the category jazz/world. He produced the most recent album for the Brazilian singer Lilian Vieira at the start of the year. The album received enthousiastic reviews and led to appearances by Lilian in the television programmes Pauw en Witteman, RTL Late Night and Studio Sport WK Brazil. There was also a lot of attention for the album on Radio 1, Radio 2 and Radio 6. Radio 6 was responsible for nominating Lilian Vieira and her album for the Edison Publieksprijs 2014.
