On Tuesday evening from 19.00 to 20.00 presenter/compiler Thijs Bonger takes us once again into the surprising world of Johann Nepomuk Hummel.
Episode VII begins in 1807 and demonstrates Hummel's enormous work ethic and versatility. He is still in the service of Count Esterhazy but takes on so much more as pianist and composer that he jeopardises his position as well-paid court composer. And he has a disagreement with Beethoven.
