In Concertzender Live on Thursday 13th September two recordings from the Early Music Festival: a recent one from 2017 by Dialogos led by Katarina Livljanic and an older one from 2008 by Graindelavoix led by Björn Schmelzer. This last ensemble was curator in residence of the 2018 edition of the festival.
Voyage of discovery
The Croatian singer Katarina Livljanic makes every Dialogos concert a voyage of discovery through her research. For her concert programme during the 2017 festival she started with remarkable Middle Age inscriptions on gravestones and relics of an early Reformation movement in Bosnia.
Graindelavoix
During the Early Music Festival 2008 Graindelavoix led by Björn Schmelzer sang a programme around the musicians of Philips the Beautiful and Johanna the Mad, with the Mass de Sancta Maria Magdalena by Nicolas Champion as central theme.
