Our new mini-series “In David’s Hand” features the Psalms. Part 1 is broadcast on Sunday 1 October at 16.00 CET.
A mini-festival took place in the last weekend of the Festival of Early Music in 2017 in which all 150 Psalms were performed. Our mini-series “In David’s Hand” that is broadcast in two episodes of The Early Garden and one episode of Documento complements this mini-festival.
During the mini-series you can listen to settings for the Psalms by Jan Pieterszoon Sweelinck, Georg Friedrich Händel, Alessandro Scarlatti and the Portuguese 17th-century composer João Lourenco Rebelo.
