Deze Folk it! looft hij het volgen van de intuïtie in zijn song ‘Intuition.’ Amps For Christ is het huidige muziekproject van Henry Barnes uit Californië, die experimentele noise combineert met traditionele folk. In deze aflevering hoor je zijn lied ‘AFC Tower Song’:

Sinds eind 2007 heeft de Amsterdamse Amarins haar eigen band ‘Le Gatte Negre’ waarmee ze regelmatig optreedt. In januari van dit jaar kwam haar debuutalbum ‘Incredibly Close To The Moon’ uit. Verder hoor je in deze aflevering de hemelse drone folk van Fursaxa, met de godenvererende zang van Tara Burke uit Pennsylvania. De Japanse band Slap Happy Humphrey combineert covers van Morita Doji, gezongen door Mineko van Angel ‘In Heavy Syrup, met noise. Maar het hoogtepunt van deze Folk it! ligt in de goede jaren zestig en zeventig, toen Jane Sorrenti van Saint-Just, Collie Ryan, Margaret Morgan van These Trails, Deena Webster, Berlinda Bourquin van Principal Edwards Magic Theatre, Isla Cameron en Owen Hand de hemel op aarde haalden.
