Radio.WORM is hèt platform voor nieuwe muziek en geluidskunst in Nederland. Maandelijks leveren binnen- en buitenlandse artiesten speciaal voor radio.WORM geproduceerde tracks aan, die in een feuilleton van een uur bij diverse radiostations over de hele wereld uitgezonden worden. AHD “Horizonte” AHD is the alter-ego of Ariel “Pellejo” Hernandez, better known for his now defunct noisy rock band Introdujos. Weird guitar noise fed through computer.
FRANCISCO J. TORRES “Todo es sangre” A veteran of experimental music in Puerto Rico. Torres’ main tools are shortwave radio and vintage synths.
ETSETERA “Untitled” The ever shape-shifting Etsetera is Samuel Torres’ long running, impossible to pin down project. Rejecting to be classified as “noise” or experimental music, Etsetera exists in its own universe. Mostly a performance based entity, Etsetera requires further investigation into its vast discography in order for it to be understood. Or not.
CHUCK GNOIDER “Roto” Brutal noise power trio, allegedly formed by a famed american record producer of the same name. Features members of various PR bands who get together to blast some noise after their day jobs. No one has ever met or seen Mr. Gnoider in person and some argue that he may be even dead!
MU. “Culipandeo” Solo venture from drummer Nomar Díaz who lives near the town of Arecibo, where the world’s biggest radio telescope resides. MU. With MATOTUMBA “Beso Atonal” Diaz gets together with his former band, Matotumba, another group who threads various types of music and experimentation. Matotumba members are trained as visual artists.
PUTITO SINIESTRO “Live @ San Juan Noise Fest II” The past year has been good for sound artist Araceli Pino, who excersices her noise muse through vintage turntables, radios and various other tools and appliances. Her installation work is also gathering interest.
LAUTE GERAUSCHE “Live @ San Juan Noise Fest V” Dance music turned extreme harsh noise producer Rafael Báez recently started this noise unit, in which he employs various contact mic’ed instruments he made himself, with advanced hardware processing.
