De Messiah van Händel is een wereldberoemd oratorium dat jaarlijks rond de kersttijd vele uitvoeringen kent. Dit jaar bracht AliaVox, het label van Jordi Savall, een dubbelCD uit waarin een opname te beluisteren valt van de uitvoering van dit werk door La Capella Reial de Catalunya en Le Concert des Nations olv. Jordi Savall.
De opname werd gemaakt in december 2017 in Versailles.
