In Concertzender Live on 23rd November at 20.00 we continue our broadcasts from the 2017 Early Music Festival with the concerts by Capella de la Torre & Tiburtina Ensemble and by BarrocoTout.
Capella de la Torre & Tiburtina Ensemble combined in the programme ‘Tomás Luis de Victoria: Vidi Speciosam’ misses and motets by Tomás Luis de Victoria into an honour service for Maria. With women’s voices and wind instruments such as in a Spanish nunnery around 1600.
The Belgian ensemble BarrocoTout played a Fabulous Fringeconcert in which the musicians together with tenor Paco Garcia went back to Paris in 1737, where the city and French music were discovered through the music of Georg Philipp Telemann and French contemporaries.
