On 9th, 10th, 23rd and 24th March (13.00-14.00 ) In No day without Bach you can listen to a substantial St Matthew Passion disco table during which the listener can guess who was performing and so win audiobooks !
In each episode of No day without Bach we'll be playing 30 minute excerpts, so 2 performances per episode. We'll be going through the whole of the St Matthew Passion, so in each episode we'll be playing a different performance and thus we'll be covering the whole performance history of the St Matthew Passion from the 50's till now.
When you've worked out who the performers are ( just the conductor is sufficient ) you can win an audiobook of your choice by compiler Govert Jan Bach about either the St Matthew or the St John Passion by Johann Sebastian Bach.
