Clarence Williams, pianist, componist, orkestleider en platenbaas : de jaren 1930 en 1931. Het eerste jaar na de Wall Street Crash maakte hij nog tientallen plaatopnamen, maar in 1931 werd het echt moeilijk. In dat jaar had hij maar 1 platensessie met zijn band, plus enkele opnamen met Bessie en Clara Smith.
